Isn’t it a shame you can’t call roadside assistance and say, "I’m having a flat week. Can you come change it?"

As a caregiver, there are lots of things I put up with, like listening to our one HDTV on the low def channels 95% of the time because R. can’t hear on the higher bands. (Don’t look for the logic. Don’t.)

Ristle-tee, rostle-tee, now, now, now!
Perhaps it was because we watched the Tony awards. Maybe it was just the phase of the moon. Regardless, my housemate shifted into a curious mixture of Blanche DuBois, Norma Desmond, and Faye Dunaway doing “Mommie Dearest.”
