My Own Rear Window
The word “voyeur” has definite connotations that don’t fit. “People watcher” sounds like it belongs in the category with words like “precious” and “cute.” “Observer of the human condition” reeks of pomposity. So, as much as I hate to, I must settle for the self-categorization of “nosey neighbor.”
